Waitable all over the web!
Waitable was mentioned on Webware yesterday, and since then traffic has been coming in even quicker than usual! People are linking to it from all over the plac e and adding all sorts of items to their lists. I think that’s pretty freaking awesome!
One site in particular that linked to Waitable, which I’ve never heard of before was DemoGirl. Basically, she signs up for and does screencasts of all sorts of cool web apps out there, so you can see what you’re getting before you ever sign up. For Waitable, this isn’t as much of an issue, since you don’t even have to create an account to set up notifications for products, but man, she’s doing something really useful that lets you see “behind the wall” before you end up with yet another account that you won’t use. Here’s the screencast that includes Waitable. The Waitable part starts at about 3:53 or so. I wish there was a screencast that was just about Waitable so I could link it from the home page, but oh well!
